Not the day we had planned for… Today we were supposed to celebrate Theodore’s 6th birthday (1/28) with a Lego themed birthday brunch but the flu had other plans. Saying I’m disappointed is an understatement. This has been the tradition the last 4 years!! This celebration is our way of showing him how much we all love him. We had fun Lego shirts to wear, Lego balloons, plates, napkins, table cloths and a Lego cake. The best part was we bought a Lego set for a child 6+ for the whole family (grandma, grandpa, Auntie Ashlee, Uncle Ian, and the cousins) to do together, a big one with many pieces!

I am sad, angry and disappointed. I want to curl up in bed and cry!
